Last Knight at Camelot is an arcade platform game somewhat similar to Jill of Jungle. The player controls a young knight in full armour (but without weapons) who must prove his worth to join King Arthur's Knights of the Round table. The objective of each level is to reach the exit and collect as many goodies (represented by heraldic shields of various designs) and hidden treasure as possible. The knight can jump rather high, which must be no small feat in a full suit of armour, and can defeat enemies by jumping on top of them. As in many other arcade platform games, hostile creatures can inflict harm by simply touching the player character, but otherwise just roam around without purposefully attacking. As the game was designed primarily with kids as the main audience in mind, the difficulty curve is rather gentle, and there are unlimited retries should the player fail at any level. Last Knight at Camelot was distributed as shareware. The unregistered version contains the first 12 levels out of 36 in the full game.
