* Note for DOSBox users *

This software is fully installed and configured to run in the DOSBox emulator.
You can simply drag and drop the file JETPAK.BAT over the DOSBox icon to start
playing. Experienced DOSBox users may choose other methods of startup.

The software was configured and tested to work with the official DOSBox build
v0.74-3 available from www.dosbox.com. It may or may not work with any other
third-party DOSBox distributions that are available.

For playing instructions and other information, please refer to the supplied
electronic manual (Jetpak - Read Me.txt) found in the JETPAK directory.

* Note on the use of Gravis Ultrasound *

This game supports music and sound playback via Gravis Ultrasound (GUS) sound
cards. GUS often provides better sound quality compared to Sound Blaster, and
can be emulated by DOSBox, but GUS emulation is disabled by default.

This distribution of Jetpak uses GUS for sound and music output, and will
enable GUS emulation in DOSBox for the duration of play. You can also
manually turn GUS emulation on by editing the DOSBox configuration file.
