			   The Crabs of Nevermore

THE STORY:
Cuby & Coby have so far had many great adventures together, but none
could have prepared them for their meeting with the enigmatic Crabs of
Nevermore.  
While having a nice quiet day on the ocean floor, Cuby & Coby were 
surprised to see a very bright light eminating from a huge clam
which lay among the kelp.  Deciding to investigate, our two heroes crept
closer to this strange sight.  They could just make out the silhouettes
of four dark shapes inside the clam, when a deep voice suddenly spoke to
them:
"Cuby and Coby," came the voice to the two startled crabs.
"You are noted as great warriors of truth and justice. Praise for your
 great deeds stretch far and wide throughout the many planes. Because
 of your great reputation, you have been chosen to rid Past, Present,
 and Future of the evil Cubesters. You have met some of them before,
 so it might not be a problem for you."
"Who are you?" the shaken Cuby & Coby asked in unison.
The light dimmed, and out of the clam walked four tall, robed crabs.
"We are the Crabs of Nevermore, gaurdians of time and space. The 
 cubesters have gotten their hands on one of our warps, and are wreaking
 havoc across the planes of time.  That is why we are here, to get you
 to save the entire universe."
"But we're two simple crabs," replied Coby. "How on Earth can we save 
 the entire Universe?"
"We will warp you to the different planes of time and space where any
 Cubesters are present. There are many things in these worlds which you
 can use to your advantage, and we will send some useful items into your
 area as well, so your task is a bit easier."
"All right," said Cuby.  "We'll do it!"
The leader of the Crabs of Nevermore walked towards the giant clam and
pressed a previously concealed button. A large purple whirlpool suddenly
appeared before Cuby and Coby, and one of the Crabs of Nevermore turned to
them and said:
"This is the warp that will warp you to the different areas. No two
 worlds are the same, so beware."
Cuby and Coby looked at each other, then walked towards the whirlpool.
As they stepped into the warp, the first Crab of Nevermore said:
"Oh yes, you'll only be able to return home when all the Cubesters are
 defeated."
"Uh-oh!" Cuby & Coby said as they were suddenly swept away to who knows
where.


THE STAGES:
1) HOUSE ARREST.
The two crabs find themselves in some Californian suburb somewhere in the 
early 80's. With only sofas to push around, our two friends start to wonder
why the heck they actually agreed on this mission in the first place!

2) CRAB A LA CONFUSION
After stepping through the warp in the 80's, our heroes find themselves
in a seriously warped dimension of 16th century France! The pesky Cubesters
have decided to have a bit of fun with their newfound time distortion powers,
and have changed the whole area into a virtual madhouse! They've completely
distorted reality. Well, this looks like a job for the world's most famous
crabs!

3) GARDEN VARIETY CRABS
The crabs have restored 16th century France to its former glory, and now find
themselves in 1952 in Basildon, Essex, in a country garden. But the Cubesters
have been at it again!  They've distorted reality once more, and made every-
thing grow to 5 times its original size!  Now you must defeat them with giant 
flowers!

4) ASTRO CRABS
Basildon is once more a safe place. Cuby & Coby step into the warp and find
themselves in the asteroid field in the year 2135! The Cubesters are on the
verge of changing the planets in the solar system into pieces of modern art.
They must be stopped! Cuby and Coby have quite a few asteroids at their 
disposal, so go ahead and squish those nasty Cubesters!

5) CRABS IN SPOOKSVILLE
Having saved the solar system, our two friends end up in Transylvania in the
year 1845. The Cubesters have changed the entire place into a graveyard!
All around our two brave crabs are tombstones and coffins, and the place
is crawling with ghosts and other nasty things. Grab a coffin and send those
Cubesters to an early grave!

6) UNDERWATER WARFARE
That's it! No more Mister Nice Crab! The Cubesters have invaded the oceans
somewhere in the 1960s. Heaven knows what they plan on doing with our 
friends' future home, but they're not going to wait and find out! 
There are many shells lying around, so Cuby and Coby have quite an ample
supply of ammo!

7) A VISIT TO THE MUSEUM
Having saved their world from who knows what disasters, Cuby & Coby find
themselves in South Africa, in the Pretoria Art Museum in 1993. The Cubesters
are merging ancient Rome with the year 1993, and it could mean trouble!
The only ammo at the crabs' disposal are priceless works of art. 
Oh well, a crab's gotta do what a crab's gotta do!

8) USELINK CRABS
The crabs find themselves in the present, but now they're stuck in the 
Internet!  Those nasty Cubesters are planning on taking over the information
highway to make the world do their bidding.  Our friends won't allow that
to happen, so they're gonna grab a few microchips and squash a few cubesters!

9) ROADKILL CRABS
As the crabs step out of the warp into 1989 Tokyo, they feel like they've
stepped into a bad Japanese B-Movie. They are suddenly of gigantic 
proportions, and they basically dwarf the skyscrapers around them!  But
the cunning Cubesters have also grown, and are out to destroy the city!
These Godzilla wannabe's are not going to get away with this! 
There are some sports cars standing around. Use them Wisely!

10) PAC-CRABS
As our heroes step back into their own space and time, they are welcomed by
a very unpleasant sight: The entire world is covered in small yellow dots,
and grey cubes with purple monsters on them, as well as a few cubes with 
a strangely familliar yellow guy with a big mouth are scattered across the
ocean floor! 
Out of revenge the remaining Cubesters have changed the entire world into
a giant Pac-Man game!
This means war!

AFTERWARDS
The last of the remaining Cubesters have fled, and the world is back to 
normal. Thanks to the two couragous crabs, the world is once more a safe
place.  As a reward, they receive one of the warps of the Crabs of Nevermore,
and can now travel to wherever (and whenever) they want to go.
Life is peaceful for our two friends. Peaceful up until the time of the Crabs
of the Nighttime Sky. But that's another story...
