"August 1996, and subsequently re-released by Spectrum Pacific Publishing and
"Webfoot Games on the the 3rd of June 1997. Now on the 5th of July 2000

* Note for DOSBox users *

This software is fully installed and configured to run in the DOSBox emulator.
You can simply drag and drop the file POWBAL.BAT over the DOSBox icon to start
playing. Experienced DOSBox users may choose other methods of startup.

The software was configured and tested to work with the official DOSBox build
v0.74-3 available from www.dosbox.com. It may or may not work with any other
third-party DOSBox distributions that are available.

For playing instructions and other information, please refer to the README.TXT
file found in the POWBALL directory, and the in-game help section.

PowBall was originally distributed as shareware by POW Productions and several
shareware publishers of the time (Webfoot Games, Spectrum Pacific Publishing,
Ticsoft, etc.). In July 2000, author Anthony P. Hamilton made the full version
of PowBall for DOS freeware (free to download and distribute).
