This level has both a Lightning Bolt and an extra life. The Lightning
is in the hallway leading from the main hallway to the silver key, shoot
the eastern wall in the third to last of the small rooms to the east and it
will reveal another room with the Lightning inside. The extra life is
harder to get to. North of the silver key you should find a thatch barrier
with a passage behind. Shoot the thatch and walk through it, go through
the northern door and turn to the east, through the door is another room
with a secret passage on the east side containing the extra life and a

should be a brick passage, the northern part of this passage has two rooms
to the west. In the first of these rooms is a blastable barrel and wall.
Behind this secret passage is another room like the first. West of this

This level contains both an extra life and Lightning. The extra life is
in the room with the gold key in it. To the east is a small passage with
barrels on the end, shoot the barrels and you will discover the extra life
and a coin. Once you reach the stairs, TURN AROUND and go back to the big
room just to the east. Shoot the southwestern wall indentation (the
nearest one to the passage leading to the exit), and go in. At the end of
this room is a strange monster statue. Shoot the statue and the wall
behind it and enter the passage. From here, go west into the larger room
and shoot the northern wall, then shoot the northern wall in the passage
that appears and the eastern wall in the next passage that appears. In
this last passage is the Lightning.

wall. At the end of the passage you moved south on are two shootable walls

 Jelly.

This level has both an extra life and bouncer, and both are near the
start. In the room you start off in is an unmarked shootable wall, shoot
the walls until you have destroyed it; the passage revealed behind it
contains the extra life. The bouncer is also in the main building, when
you reach the metal section of the main building, take the northern
passage, shoot the metal grate and open the metal door behind it, enter the
room and shoot the fire extinguisher to the north, the small opening behind
 it contains the Starburst.

This level has a bouncer. From the start, go south, east, north through
in-between the Ken faces, and into the large room of brick. Look around
this room and you should find a place with an "island" of jungle blocks; go
as far north along the island as you can and turn west, open the door and
enter the passage. Once inside, turn north and go into the eastern
hallway, shoot the two walls on the end and continue on, you should come
upon the Bullet at the passage's end. Incidentally, both this and level
3-6 were derived from the FIRST EVER level made for Ken's Labyrinth (Ken's
Labyrinth was called "WALKEN" at the time), 3-6 has survived the past seven
months virtually unchanged though, unlike 1-9 (this one).

Zorko fires fireballs and repels Heat-Seeking Missles, so you should
attack him with bouncy Bullets, he is often hard to see and will seem to
appear out of nowhere, so keep shooting, if you only shoot when you see
him you will never get in a clear shot. After 1/2 of his energy is gone,
he can tomporarily vaporize his body and move around super fast as a head.
When he is like this, he cannot hurt you and you cannot hurt him.
There are secret passages in his floor. From your starting point, turn
around 180 degrees and shoot the wall, a door should appear. Go through
the door and turn left, at the end of the hallway there is a walk-through
wall on the left. Go inside the secret passage and kill all the bats. Then
turn around and go back the way you came to the right passage. At the end
of this are some items and a shootable wall, shoot the wall and continue
on. At the end of that passage you should be in a large room, directly in
front of the entrance is a shootable wall, shoot it and get the cloaks
inside. After you are done in the secret passage go to the oher part of the
large room and get the items. Then go on back and destroy Zorko with all
these items; he should be a breeze for an experienced player. After he is
dead, SAVE YOUR GAME and look around for warps, two should have appeared as
long as you have not cheated, one will lead to the end, the other to a
"Game Over" room from which there is no escape. If you have cheated both
will lead to the "Game Over" room.

This level has your first Heat-Seeker and an extra life. I couldn't
begin to describe their locations in this space so I will just give you
some pointers. The silver key is hidden in a secret passage behind a blue
painting of Ken, it is the only painting in the level, so if you find it,
you have found the correct passage. Secondly, every passage is behind a
clock that explodes when shot, so don't even bother looking for passages at
 blank walls.

    * You may notice an abundance of purple potions in this level, they are
there for a very important reason. Behind the gold locked doors in the
wooden hallway is a room stuffed with enemies, you have little chance of
defeating them in a fair fight, so use the potions to get them from the
 other side of the wall.

Level 2-3 has a bouncing starburst Bullet. From the start, go north
into the big hallway. From there, take the door to the west and go south in
that hallway. Near the end of this hallway is a room to the east, inside
is a lot of food; at either end of this room is a wall that is blastable,
shooting it will reveal the bouncer.

This level contains both a Lightning and an extra life. The Lightning
is in the dark wood building. Inside the building is one, and only one,
closet; shoot the closet and proceed to the end of the passage that is
revealed, on the west side is another passage behind a locked door, unlock
the door and continue on to the end where you should find the Lightning.
The extra life is in the metal building (the one with the stairs). Unlock
the SILVER door and enter the metal building, on the western side of one of
the rooms is an indentation in the wall, shoot the indented block and enter
the secret passage. Shoot the walls until one explodes to reveal the extra
 life.

The Extra life in this level is just across from your start, behind the
silver locked door, once you have the silver key you will have to backtrack
to get it. The bouncy Bullet is in the southernmost stone room, the north
stone room is not connected to it, so you will have to enter the adjoining

The Heat-Seeker in this level is hidden behind a Ken face picture in the
stone maze, I can't explain how to get there, so just shoot any Ken face
you come upon and you're sure to find it.
    * If you find a secret passage with a bunch if pirates stuck in walls
and a coin in the middle of the room, go to the coin and turn south, once
all of the pirates have been freed (and hopefully destroyed) from the block
directly south of the coin (you release them by shooting the wall, every
time you shoot the wall, a pirate comes out), the wall will explode when
shot to reveal a secret passage.

Andy moves very slowly, but his offensive prowess makes up for that, he
throws huge spinning rings constantly and repels Heat-Seekers, after 1/3 of
his energy is gone he gains the ability to become invincible when hit, so
that your Bullets bounce back at you and if you touch him you die. After
2/3 of his energy is gone, he becomes able to create Mini-Andy-Clones who
can repel Heat-Seekers and disappear and reappear in a cloud of smoke, only
 being vulnerable when visible.
This level is not packed with items, but it is packed with enemies.
North of your start is a door, go in and get the items, north of that is a
thin, empty passage with a door in the middle, go inside the door and turn
north, shoot and walk through the wall, get the item inside and shoot the
north wall, go to the end of the hallway, get the coin, and shoot the
north, west, and east walls, get the coins inside and turn around. Follow
the main hallway to a large room, destroy all the enemies inside but don't
brave the fans for the warp until you have the silver key. Go through the
hall of holes and enter the first half of the boss room (make sure Sparky
doesn't fall down a hole!), get the items in the left and right rooms and
find the metal door that you can open and close (it is the only one that
stays closed as you move away) to enter Andy's residence. Get the green
potions in the adjoining rooms and fight to victory. Once Andy is
defeated he will leave a silver key behind, go back to the room with the
warp and go in, like level 1-10, if you cheated, you will be punished, but
if you didn't cheat, you win.

This level has the sixth (and second to last) bouncer of the game. The
bouncer is hidden in the Red brick room with four holes in the middle,
there is a small indentation in the southeast corner of this room

Level 3-2 contains an extra life and Heat-Seeker. The Heat-Seeker is
very well hidden near your start. From your start, go south 'till you hit
a wall, east 'till you come to a passage leading north, north 'till you hit
a wall, west 'till you hit a wall, north 'till you hit a wall, turn towards
the east and shoot the wall with the light socket; it should explode and
reveal the Heat-Seeker. The Extra life is not nearly so hard to find, in
the tan/brown stone area, go north until you come to the passage leading
to the stair room, turn west and go to the end of the passage, then turn
north and go into the room containing the extra life (on the map it is the
small room in the upper-left corner).

This level has seven sections, and one of them contains a Lightning.
The section with the bathroom tile edge has a building of brownish stuff
that is hard to describe withmany doors and rooms inside it. On the
southernmost edge of this building there is only one door, go in and
destroy the enemies. Then go to the southeastern corner and shoot the wall
just to the east, it should explode to reveal the room containing the
 Lightning.

This level contains a Heat-Seeker in the vertical block building with
fans around it. Open the silver locked door of this building and go in,
shoot the two walls at the southern end and get the Heat-Seeker behind
 them.

and blue cloaks as offense, not defense.

This level is very confusing indeed, so much so that I cannot describe
the Lightning's location accurately enough for my instructions to be of any
use to you, so the only help I can give is to tell you to look for the
small room in the upper right of the map, that is the room containing the
 Lightning Bolt.

Remember how back in level 2-9 I told you about the shootable Pirate
block that could only be destroyed once all of the pirates in it had been
released? Deja Vu! Here it is again, a secret passage marked only by an
indentation contains a whole bunch of trapped pirates, and one (I won't
tell you which, I don't want to rob you of ALL of your fun) will explode
once all of the pirates have vacated the premises, revealing a Heat-Seeker.
The Extra Life is hidden pretty well too, the stone maze has two exits, one
(the north) leads to the rest of the maze; the other (the west) leads to a
passage, at the end of that passage are two blocks on the west side that
should be shot to reveal the extra life.

What is there to say about this level? The items are all in plain
sight, and the slot and soda machines aren't too hard to find with a little
 sharp shootin'.

This maze would be tough, but we left you a trail to follow that anyone
could find, if you get to a fork in the trail, turn right to get the key,
left to get to the exit. By the way, if you find a globe, save the game in
front of it and ship the saved game off to us to win a prize (don't bother
to if you used any cheat keys, we have ways of finding that out).

This level sure is a complicated maze! Too bad there weren't any clues
about it worth copying down in levels 1-1 and 3-8.

In this level you must fight all of the bosses that you have encountered
up to this point, plus a new one, Ken. Ken shoots three types of Bullets.
At first he shoots super fast, weak Bullets. After 1/3 of his energy is
 gone he shoots slower, stronger Bullets and turns invulnerable when shot;
after 2/3 of his energy is gone he starts shooting easy to dodge, super
strong Bullets and gains the ability to warp to another location.
Your best hope for defeating Ken is to make sure to have either some
green potions or grey cloaks since some of his Bullets are almost
impossible to dodge. You could probably get them from the soda machine.

the next three are the Bullets you start with in the first,

You start the second episode with one less weapon in each category
than you would have if you had played through the first episode and found
every item; you start the third episode with two less. This means that if
you start at the second episode and play through to the end without buying
any of the weapons, you would have to find every item in the next 20 levels
to have all six in each category, if you start in the third episode and
don't buy any weapons, even if you found every weapon in the next ten
levels, you would only have 5 of the 6 possible.
Also, you start each episode with only one extra life and no compass, no
 matter what.

You may have noticed that 3-7 has every weapon and 3-8 & 3-9 have no
items, This is because 3-7 is a level simply meant to help you power up
before having to fight through the last three levels with no items.
Also, the boss levels (1-10, 2-10, and 3-10) are not on this graph
because they contain no items, 3-8 and 3-9 are included only to avoid
 confusion.
