Monsters move  toward  or away
from the character.   They can
also move randomly, on  paths,
on    attack  paths,  or  just
follow the  character  around.
They can kill  or  damage  the
character.

Monsters  can  be  thrown  (or
shot) by the character.  Thus,
they serve as  weapons as well
as adversaries.  When  a  mon-
ster hits another monster, the
one with the least power dies.    



Upon death, a monster can turn
into  a  new  monster.    This
feature  lets   you  get  very
creative,   such  as    having
bullets explode when they  hit
something, or having a monster
die  with  an  elaborate death
dance.
