HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
*********************

486 66MHz or higher with VESA compatible driver, 8Mb RAM, and 20Mb hard disk space.
	
Recommended setup: Pentium, quad-speed CD-ROM drive, VESA compatible driver, SVGA
video card & monitor.

Supported: Soundblaster and 100% compatibles, AWE32, WaveBlaster, AdLib, Pro
Audio Spectrum, Roland MT32, General MIDI.

This demo's high resolution graphics require both a VESA compatible SVGA
video card and VESA Super VGA BIOS Extension installed before you start the
game. VESA stands for Video Electronics Standards Association. This standard
allows the graphics to be displayed on any video card that is VESA compatible
without the need for the game's programmers to know precisely how each
individual card works. 

If, when attempting to run the demo, you get an error message, your video card
probably needs a VESA driver loaded prior to playing. Consult the documentation
and software that came with your video card on the loading of the driver, or
contact your video card manufacturer.

DOWNLOADING & INSTALLING THE DEMO
*********************************

Download the file netdemo.zip.

Create a directory into which the contents of the file can be extracted.

If you're unzipping the file with Pkunzip, remember to use the -d switch to preserve the demo's subdirectory structure. If you're using Winzip, just extract all the zipfile's contents to your chosen directory. The demo requires about 20Mb of hard disk space.

Run [language].bat to convert all the text in the demo into your preferred language. Note that this batch file converts text only. All speech in this demo is in English only.

Run play.bat. Follow the prompts to set up your soundcard for effects and music. Attempt "Configure automatically" first.

Click on "login".

Select a login ID. Note that in this demo you can only play a EuroCorp Syndicate mission.

Click on "Continue".

UNINSTALLATION
**************

To uninstall the demo, simply delete the directory you created and all its contents.

You may wish to refer to your Windows '95/DOS manual to find out the most efficient way of doing this.
