About Dungeon Master's Gallery...
Upon returning to the ZZT scene after years in absence, my first real release was Gallery, which gave me my niche in the ZZT world.  It was to be the first game of what I would come to call the Dungeon Trilogy, finished a year later.
Of the games I've released, Gallery may very well be my favorite.  It was what I had intended it to be - a ZZT-based dungeon game that spoofed other classic dungeon games.  A game filled with clever humor (or so I'd hoped) and old-fanshioned adventuring.
So now, almost a year after its original release, I'm happy to release it again, with a few new bells & whistles that should make fans of the game happy.  I hope you enjoy playing Gallery as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Playing the Game
Gallery is played in a traditional ZZT manner.  Use the arrow keys to travel, and move into an object to interact with it (when possible).
Arrows
Throughout the dungeon you will find collections of arrows.  The number of arrows available will be revealed once you move into the stack.  Arrows can, naturally, be fired by holding shift and pressing an arrow key.
Torches
The dungeon is dark, and you can only see through use of torches.  They can usually be found on the walls of the dungeon, although there are other ways to procure them.  Pressing T lights a torch.
Exploring the Dungeon
The dungeon is made of many levels.  You can travel lower into the dungeon or backtrack if you wish (until you use the portal).   Your ultimate goal lies somewhere around the tenth floor.
The Dungeon
The dungeon is a large structure, populated with many strange creatures and characters.  It is also filled with treasure, including the arrows and torches you need to survive.

Good luck, foolish adventurer.
