New! Companion expansion of Gobble_d_Gook, entitled: Dumb it down more, WiL Well, I did. For those of you who can't bother with the complicated one, this one's instructions are far more simple. Edit the "C" object, and fill in the blanks with the applicable terrain . Here is a list of definitions: = should be a passable block = can be anything, either passable or impassable, or somewhere in between. = should be an impassable block = mere suggestions. Can be anything you want to appear sparsely. if you follow these guidelines, you can then build a map whose BACKgrounds build some kind of a map for the player to follow, and whose FOREgrounds correspond with these NON-STK colors: red, yellow = Passable board (100%) blue, cyan, purple = Semi-passable board (<100%, >0% passable) green, white = Impassable board (0%) Also, the towns should work the same as they do in regular Gobble_d_Gook. IMPORTANT NOTICE ON TOWNS Make sure that your towns are surrounded on ALL sides by invisibles. Otherwise, your game will have many errors. One final thing: This is a list of things that you can #change to in " Dumb it down more, WiL": breakable, normal, solid, water, fake, forest, bear, head, lion, tiger, ruffian, gem, ammo.
