This is an unfinished Llama Masters 3, the sequel to my early ZZT games Llama Masters and Llama Masters II. Apparently, I started working on this some time around July 1999, although I think most of the work was done that December, after I was inspired by replaying my old games for the ridiculously self-indulgent collection "Five Years of Maximum ZZT." I worked on it in occasional spurts over the next few months. In 2000, I apparently went through each board (up to a certain point) and appraised its progress, putting a scroll in the upper right corner of the board with a comment. I do not remember why I did that. But the boards without scrolls were probably made after that point. The most recent timestamp on the ZZT file was from July 10, 2003, but I think most of the significant work was done in 1999-2000. After that, it languished in obscurity, getting moved from hard drive to hard drive, archived and unarchived, until I recorded a video of myself playing through it in 2011. Then it sat around some more for the next ten years and now I'm digging it up and releasing it before it gets lost forever. I have resisted the temptation to make any changes or fixes. This is the file as it was in 2003. I am not sure whether it's possible to reach the last board without cheating (I got stuck at one point and had to cheat to get all the keys, but I might just be bad at the game). I don't remember whether where the game was intended to go after this point. I doubt I had much of a plan; these games were usually mostly just stream of consciousness. I think I had a vague idea of a theme with the villains of the previous games all having moved on with their lives and no longer doing bad stuff, but that was about it. There might be more info in that playthrough video I made ten years ago (https://youtu.be/nKlD7t6WvGE). Or maybe it contradicts everything I'm saying here. I don't feel like watching it to find out. Anyway, enjoy! Scott Hammack 19 June 2021
