BATTLESPIRE is an action role-playing game set in the world of Tamriel, during the era of award-winning RGP, The Elder Scrolls: ARENA.  Setting new standards for 3-D graphics in a CRPG, BATTLESPIRE will astound you with its otherworldly architecture, labyrinthine castles and passageway, and fiendish designs.

Like any true RPG, BATTLESPIRE has a robust character design system, character interaction, and intriguing storyline.

BATTLESPIRE features a point-balanced, detailed character creation system based on the character creation scheme of The Elder Scrolls: DAGGERFALL. Weigh the advantages of high attributes, advanced skills, inherent advantages and disadvantages, weaponry, and specific magic masteries and spell lists in building your character. Continue to fine-tune your character design between level advances by spending build points gained in gameplay.

The various and distinctive monsters will truly test your mettle.  They hear your footsteps, smell your blood, and track you like prey.  The AI system is the most advanced ever implemented in a RPG.  And dialog with monsters and NPCs lets you try to exploit factional rivalries and hatreds among the daedric clans, pitting fiend against fiend - a splendid tactic, until your treachery and perfidy is discovered.

The BATTLESPIRE combat system is robust and intuitive, and with signal advances upon the widely-praised systems of DAGGERFALL.  Fans of hack-and-slash combat can experiment to find the right mixtures of weapons, armor, and maneuver to deal with the specific features of each monster, and can supplement their arsenals from magical items and artifact discovered along the way. Admirers of the wizardly arts will fancy the numerous customizable spells, and bouncing fireballs that explode on contact with flesh - YOUR flesh, if you aren't careful.  And students of combined arms can experiment with subtle mixtures of brute violence and subtle sorcery in confounding the fortunes of the enemy.

The advanced multiplayer options let you sneak around and batter and fry your pals in deathmatch bloodbaths.  Or play cooperatively, and pit your teamwork and strategies against the Battlespire's antagonists.  You can even play team vs. team, racing to complete objectives as you struggle to survive.
